A devoted family man and grandfather, Randy prioritizes safety and fun, making every outing a memorable adventure for anglers of all ages. This year for 2026, we have added Capt. Charley Baker to our crew. Charley is a father of 5 and has spent the last 20 years fishing all over Texas from freshwater to saltwater focusing the last two years full time here in Port A. Capt. Randy has been fishing in and around Port A for the last 28 years . He lives and fishes here in Port Aransas full-time. You can check out the bays in style aboard his 25 Majek Illusion. As a father a grandfather, family is very important, so it is his job to make sure your family is safe and has a blast fishing. He has worked tirelessly to build a company that will stand the test of time providing premier bay fishing adventures while helping our local community and guests who come to visit by bringing only the best guides on board to work with Red Tag Guide Service.

Captain Charley has been fishing his whole life, from freshwater lakes to the saltwater bays of the Texas Coast. As a father of 5, fishing isn’t just something he does — it’s a true passion, and one of his favorite parts of being a captain is sharing that experience with others. Captain Charley runs family friendly shallow water bay fishing charters out of Port Aransas, Texas fishing the productive bays, flats, and back lakes around Port Aransas. He’s constantly scouting new water, finding the best spots, and focusing on ways to put his guests on fish.
